Over the course of this class I have posted about many topics in the field of digital media and design. I must say that I am proud that I learn many things of which I was unaware of such as the "Dark Web" or "Net Neutrality." I have learned the dangers of copyright laws and have a better understanding of how that system operates. More importantly I realized how much we truly need the protection that copyright laws give us however. As everyone is looking for ways to benefit themselves as greed consumes many people one can never have too much protection in today's society. Net neutrality is another excellent form of protection as it is trying to keep Fortune 500 companies from creating a monopoly on internet services. As bad as it sounds the world can be a dangerous place while it seems to be "safe" up front. Everyone who is in business to make money seems to be doing anything that can possibly do and many are doing this with the Internet. While technology is enabling this to happen it is also making the world a better place and will continue to do so as new things are always being introduced to the market. The "communication revolution" is taking place as we speak with no end in sight. While the older generations are trying to keep up with they changes in technology the younger generation is adapting to the changes much quicker to enable more advances in technology to come about. The "Communication Revolution" is almost a never ending revolution of technology and I am proud to say that my fellow classmates and I are a part of it.
